KANSAS CITY, KAN. – A federal grand jury in Kansas City, Kansas, returned an indictment charging a man for allegedly having a pistol when he is prohibited from legally possessing guns because of a prior felony conviction. According to court documents, Jey Lewis, 27, was indicted on one count of felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) is investigating the case. Assistant U.S. Attorney Jabari Wamble is prosecuting the case. OTHER INDICTMENTS Juan Carlos Duron, 50, an illegal alien from Mexico, was indicted on one count of reentry of a previously deported alien convicted of an aggravated felony. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is investigating the case. Assistant U.S. Attorney Jabari Wamble is prosecuting the case. Michell Gonzalez-Diaz, 33, an illegal alien from Mexico, was indicted on one count of reentry of a previously removed alien. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is investigating the case.
